Why do the topics get locked?

I know you are new but here's what it says in the rules:

§12 Rumours / Gossip - This board is dedicated to the discussion of Jim Carrey's career and public life. Carrey's personal life is his business and we respect that (like who he's dating, etc). Futhermore, speculations on people's private lives are not allowed. JCO will not be a tabloid.

I belong to many forums - quite different than this one though-
so excuse my ignorance, I haven't a clue.
What is a Spoiler? Since in the Rules it says to warn users if a spoiler
is posted & to post it in white, I don't know what a Spoiler is

A spoiler is when you are going to reveal the end of a movie. so if you want review on of jims movies and talk about what happens at the end You should post the word SPOILER at the begining of your post so people who have not seen the movie will know not to read your post.

Welcome to the site Ronnie.

No, sorry it is not possible to upload your own avatars. You have to choose an avatar from our gallery (contains 450 Jim avatars).
You are also welcome to request a Jim picture that can be used for a new avatar.

Later this month I will add many new avatars.

Hey, amazing site and excellent forum! Just wondering, what is the difference between messages showing up in the "sentbox" and "outbox"?

in sentbox u can check out whether the person whom u have sent ur mail to have read it or not, whereas in the outbox, if the person have not read ur mail, it will be shown there.
