Jim Carrey Writes A Children's Book
20 Mar 2013

By Priya Baboota (Web correspondent)

Multi-talented star Jim Carrey has now become a writer! He has written a children's book about a sacred little wave. The book is titled "Roland Rolls", which is the story of a little wave who is afraid of dying when he hits the beach eventually.

Jim said that he wrote a children's book because he wanted to be a part of special moments for people and to himself. There is nothing more special than the moment before bed when you are reading a story with your kid. That moment is kind of "slice of heaven" for him.

Jim explained about the book he wrote that the story he wrote is about "a wave named Roland that is afraid that one day he is going to hit the beach and his life will be over. But when he gets deep, he's struck by the notion that he's not just a wave - he's the whole big wide ocean." It is a kind of metaphysical children's story dealing with a lot of heavy stuff in a really childish way.

Carrey thinks its going to be good for kids and parents and they will go to bed feeling safer. He also said that he didn't choose to write the story, rather it just came to his mind. It's just how he feels. He opened that "We spend our lives caught up in the minute of these little emotional things that happen and it's like we're waves in the ocean."

We all are waiting for his book to release soon! We hope that both kids and parents will love it!
