"A Christmas Carol" Coming to Cannes

Jim Carrey will come to Europe in May for this years Cannes Film Festival. Yesterday Walt Disney Pictures announced that they will unveil the first look ever in 3-D of the classic Dickens tale "Disney's A Christmas Carol". That could be an extended scene and maybe the first trailer.
The press conference will be held Monday, May 18 at the Carlton Intercontinental Hotel. It will begin at approx. 11:30 a.m. Jim Carrey, Colin Firth, director Robert Zemeckis, and producers Steve Starkey and Jack Rapke will attend the event.

Plot Summary
Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey) begins the Christmas holiday with his usual miserly contempt, barking at his faithful clerk (Gary Oldman) and his cheery nephew (Colin Firth). But when the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come take him on an eye-opening journey revealing truths Old Scrooge is reluctant to face, he must open his heart to undo years of ill will before it's too late.
"Disney's A Christmas Carol" opens in conventional and IMAX theaters on November 6, 2009.
