oh and also this critic wont have seen the final draft..impossibile
Ive decided that the only 'CRITICS' that really count are his fans...screw the ones that write the reviews, they are too choosy...personally, a critic should be more then happy when an actor stretches their genere from comedy to something else especially if they pull it off and I believe Jims done that. I have high faith that the #23 will be thrilling and Jim will do well.

It's Jim Carrey's “Battlefield Earth” -- a mind-boggling disaster that easily fits the bill as his worst starring vehicle." ,- Scott Mantz So, I was waiting for the good reviews ... but the fact is that they went from 'not so good' to 'Bad, realy bad!'.  So is my fear coming true? That this could be Carrey's first mediocre movie because of the not-so-talented shumacher.
And I know ... "You shouldn't listen to the critics". Yeah, believe me, I know. Who doesn't? WE ALL KNOW. I'm just reading them to know other people's experience on this movie and I'm just curious why they did/didn't like it. I sure know everybody should make up his own mind, and believe me, I do! I always do. Also, for example, here in Belgium I actually care about some opinions by some critics I like to read. Some good writers! Because it's not America here. Mostly here 'critics' aren't famous, not over-payed and what they say has no impact at all if you see the box-office. And they do write interesting stuff. Don't know why it's so different oversea. btw, "the critics don't know a thing", "They just don't like Jim", ... you know, that sort of reactions are just childish and laughable. "My favorite actor is in it, so it will be good!" Damn, that's so wrong. I'm sorry for saying that out loud, but I think that's such, well, childish thinking. * Sorry if I sound a bit rude, it's also because of my so-so English. Harder to choose less big words. I'm not meaning to point at anyone. I have my doubts about '23', I always had. But I hope it's going to turn out to be ok.
Those damn critics.. Anways the critics didnt like The Majestic, but I enjoyed it, so I think ill enjoy The Number 23.
Critics really have a grudge against Carrey.
