the UK was all about Armistice last weekend. We've been teaching the kids at school about WW1 and there were remembrance services everywhere. The newspapers all carried poignant WW1 pics as headline articles and the TV channels were full of documentaries. They screened Peter Jacksons film 'They Shall Not Grow Old'. It was very sobering and so very sad.
