Now here's a big surprise!

Remember hearing about a documentary about the making of Man on the Moon and the on-screen process of Jim Carrey becoming Andy Kaufman? Apparently it's finally gotten finished and is ready to be shown at this year's Toronto International Film Festival. The movie's full title is Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond. The Story of Jim Carrey, Andy Kaufman, and Tony Clifton.

The brief synopsis is written as "During the filming of Man on the Moon, Jim Carrey called Chris Smith to shoot the backstage of the show. The result was hours of movies that show how director Milos Forman had to face the complex personality of the protagonist."

Well, well, well, ... Man on the Moon is the second best movie Jim Carrey has made and one of my personal faves of all time. This is great news ! 8)

Here's more proof of its existence in case you're wondering:

(I personally think a Best Documentary Oscar nomination would more than make up for Man on the Moon's lack of Oscar recognition!)

Seems very interesting. There must be some great footage we have not seen from that time. :)

Not many details about it yet. Looks like it will be announched next week which day it will open at Venice Film Festival. Should be a good chance that Jim will attend the world premiere there. :D

The documentary really sounds interesting. I wonder when it's gonna be released? Is it gonna be a limited release or for DVD or Blu-ray only. Will it play at movie theaters?
I can't wait to see it. Will it have a press conference with Jim and the rest of the cast of "Man on the Moon". The documentary really sounds great. Can't wait for it's release nationality.

I just finished reading your article about the documentary on Jim and Andy. It was great.
So far, it's been a pretty busy year for Jim. I'm very happy he's getting out and making personal appearances. I'm also happy that he plans on going to Venice and Toronto.

Sincerely,

I'm more excited about this documentary than The Bad Batch.
It will be very cool!

This documentary would be great if they play it on Smithsonian Channel or PBS. Because I would love to see the movie. I want to wish Jim a safe trip to Venice and Toronto. I hope there will be pictures and videos of the documentary.
If yall fine some recent pictures of Jim, I would love to see them. I also hope that there will be pictures from Jim's Art Exhibition from Las Vegas.
Have a blessed night.

P.S. It will also be great if it's played on Reelz.
