Morning JCO,
I was reading the list of Upcoming movies. I wish the following movies weren't rumors:
1. Ricky Stanicky
2. Deep Cover
3. Dumb and Dumber For
4. Damn Yankees
5. Bruce Almighty 2
6. Believe It or Not
7. Sober Buddies
Jim would be great in all of them.
Sincerely,
Terry Marvin (Dallas, Texas, USA)

Don't forget Aleister Arcane and Mr. Toy! I think he's doing those projects this year!

I haven't heard of most of those.
I think someone's definitely yanking your chain with D&D for..
I'm no fan of sequels. I certainly can't see him going back to Bruce Almighty.
I like what he's got lined up right now. I like that he's always evolving and doing something different. From a selfish perspective it would be lovely to see more of him but he seems to be very keen to move on. I don't think he's that crazy about the whole Hollywood shit anymore and who the hell can blame him..

I read or heard that Jim Carrey isn't gonna do "Mr. Toy". I knew about "Aleister Arcane" sometime ago. Someone told he'll start shooting "Aleister Arcane" when the script is finished.
Sincerely,

If they ever do a Bruce Almighty 2, I hope they come up with a good story that's able to support funny scenes. Evan Almighty had a great comedic actor, a story that worked ... but the script had no room for funny scenes. There was very little to laugh, it felt like 'Evan' was counting on Carrell only. That doesn't work.

I recently saw it again
I srill love it
It did not have to b that funny
Carell is an entity unto himself
And he carried it well

Well, for a movie following up the laughfest 'Bruce Almighty' and presented as a pure comedy, it does need to funny.
Steve Carrell is my second favorite comedic actor and he was good as Always, but the script was one of missed uportunities.
